I realized
it was not crystalline sugar
but the glistening words
of Frost and Millay

I thought I might just lie here until the rain stopped.
It was a kind of bath, and there wasn't much I could
do about flies. What was that about the Buddha on the road?

My mind pebbled, a spin doctor's nightmare
I twist to stare into the eyes of my companion
And see empty skies, no flies.

i called for the sun to come dance with me now you come too

thrashing at invisible flies, arms outstretched and wide.open.eyes
(full of wild flowers) - lips crashing into the seams of my mind,
your steps like sun-blinded stitches or primative drums
